Therapy Values
Our therapy modality prioritizes neurodiversity affirming practices, child-led interactions, and play based strategies to serve your child. We follow our patients’ leads with their interests so that therapy is meaningful to them. We value connection over compliance.
-
Therapy Progress Measures
Plans of care are flexible documents. They are updated based on patient fluctuations, family values, progress, and adjustments. Regarding insurance requirements, plans of care are written for 12 weeks time. Every three months at minimum, we will review goal progress and focus of plan of care based on client needs and therapist recommendations. Yearly assessments are completed with standardized (when applicable) testing to fulfill insurance requirements and measure progress from year to year.
-
Billing
Invoices are sent on Monday or collected at time of service. Late fees and no-show fees are not covered by insurance. Please refer to our intake forms for details. Fusion does not provide service dates on invoice processing unless you view it in the portal. Full payment and invoice details are in the portal along with copies of assessments and progress notes.
-
Attendance and Tardiness
We are a service based industry and only bill insurance when your child is seen by your therapist. Most services are billed in 15 minute increments, so tardiness and absences directly effects the amount of money your therapist receives for their services.
To sustain our business and for optimal therapy outcomes, we require consistent attendance (80% or more) which is also impacted by tardiness.
-
Clinic Environment
For children 11 and under, we require caregivers to stay on the premises.
Cell phones are not permitted in treatment spaces. If parents need to make a call or work on a smart device, please sit in the waiting room to ensure a present and engaged therapy room.
Siblings are also not allowed in treatment rooms unless they are receiving therapy with another provider.
We prioritize our patients feeling safe and secure. If you are in our building, we ask you maintain a gentle tone and demeanor. If you are not able to do so, you will be asked to leave and will be discharged from services.
*We are mandated reporters of any signs/symptoms of abuse.

Call in Status
Call-In Status is when a family calls the front desk each week to find clinic availability for therapy. Time and therapist will not be consistent from week to week, however, it allows for more flexibility in scheduling.
After three sessions have been cancelled without 24 hour notice of the appointment or when a family has attended less than 80% of scheduled appointments, a child will move to call in status. When a family is able to make 3 consecutive weeks in a row as a call-in, the child is eligible to be on a permanent schedule when an opening becomes available.
